Abstract

This paper seeks to estimate how succinctly the Higher Education System in India has been able to accommodate and address the concerns and welfare of Women with Disabilities. In this regard, statistics reveal that positive disposition and dispensation is hardly the case in the Indian scenario. Despite several executive and constitutional incorporations, women with disabilities in India face several hurdles and challenges that cause impediments to their overall progress, development and inclusivity in a participatory society. This paper explores the current situation and addresses the causes and remedies of the perceived lacunas.
