Abstract

L earning disabilities are neurological conditions that hinder a person's capacity to acquire, process, retain, and express information. These challenges can manifest in diverse areas of learning such as reading, writing, mathematics, and, in certain instances, attention and social skills. It is crucial to recognize that having a learning disability does not reflect on an individual's intelligence; many people with learning disabilities possess average or above-average intellectual abilities. Identifying and addressing these challenges early is essential, as targeted interventions and support can significantly enhance outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities Learning disabilities can manifest in very young children, but they often go unnoticed until the child enters school. These conditions can persist throughout a person's life, and some individuals may experience multiple overlapping learning disabilities, while others may have a single isolated issue with minimal impact.
