Abstract

Athlete performance is a complex phenomenon impacted by a range of biomechanical, physiological, and psychological elements. It is impossible to overestimate the importance of the nervous system in controlling movement, coordination, and cognitive function, even though sports training frequently places a strong emphasis on physical fitness and skill development.1 The study of neurophysiology, or how the nervous system works and interacts with the body and environment, can help us understand the mechanics that underlie athletic performance.
