Abstract

Conventional education alone can't meet mass education and skilling needs. Technical and vocational education is vital for a country's social, economic, and human capital growth. Success in technical and vocational education involves industry coordination and producing graduates with industry-required skill sets. A best practice for these institutions is to collaborate with industry, understanding market demands. The study identified crucial dimensions for TVET institutes, including a focus on trainees' attitude development, digitalization, research culture, and an updated curriculum. Excelling in these areas enables institutes to produce graduates readily accepted by industry, strengthening the concept and process of demand-driven TVET.
