Abstract

The rapid growth of digital marketing has introduced various avenues for businesses to promote their products and services, with affiliate marketing emerging as a prominent strategy. Affiliate marketing is a marketing in which third-party publications can advertise a merchant's products or services in exchange for a share of any transactions or website traffic generated. This paper explores the awareness level of college students in Tirunelveli regarding affiliate marketing and analyses their understanding of affiliate marketing channels. The sample respondents were selected using convenient sampling method and the primary data were collected from college students using survey method. The Awareness of college students towards affiliate marketing was analyzed using ANOVA. This research suggests that educational institutions should inculcate relevant aspects of affiliate marketing as a part of their curricula and motivate the students to explore the various aspects of digital marketing in free time.
