This research aims to explore the intricate of trade in ancient India to the world, with a particular focus on the, trade route, commodities traded, major trading centers and trading partners. Investigating the historical and archaeological evidence, the study will delve into the key commodities traded, the economic systems that facilitated commerce, and the cultural exchanges between trading countries. Special attention will be given to the role of major trade centers such as the ancient ports of Lothal and Dholavira, as well as the impact of trade on societal structures and technological advancements in ancient India.
